Charities involved

The charities behind Free Wills Month Ireland operate vital services on which many vulnerable and needy people rely.  They have come together to promote this campaign in the hope that you will take up their offer to settle your affairs and consider leaving a gift which will benefit their work for generations to come.

Let yours be a willing heart...and help the Irish Heart Foundation. Through our programmes of Research, Education, Advocacy and Patient Support we are working to reduce premature death and disability from Heart Disease & Stroke in Ireland. We are almost entirely funded by public donations and our work cannot continue without the generous support of people like you. You can help this vital work by including the Irish Heart Foundation in your Will.

The Irish Hospice Foundation* is the national charity which supports the development of Hospice care and promotes awareness of the Hospice philosophy. We support a home care service for children, fund a night nursing service for patients with illnesses other than cancer, organise training and education on loss and bereavement and fund research.  Your legacy will allow us to promote quality end-of-life care for everyone in need.   Now that's a lasting legacy.  * The IHF does not provide direct hospice services.

The Children's Medical and Research Foundation is the fundraising body for Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin and the Children's Research Centre.  Our Lady's is one of the most renowned paediatric hospitals in Europe, providing care to children across Ireland with serious conditions and conducting research into causes and cures.  Children are our future.  With the support of gifts left in Wills we will be able to provide care and hope for generations of children to come.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland is the only national organisation providing information and support to people living with MS, their families, friends and carers. With more than 7,000 families living with this progressive neurological condition in Ireland, our work enables those affected by the condition to live life to their fullest potential.   A gift in your Will could help minimize the impact MS has for thousands of people and help fund research into the condition to benefit generations to come.

Age Action is the national charity on ageing and older people. Our vision is to make Ireland the best place in the world to grow older. We are committed to fighting discrimination and promoting positive ageing and securing high quality services for all older people. A gift in your Will could help us to continue providing vital support for older people.

Oxfam Ireland believes that everyone has the right to a home, food, clean water, a way to make a living, education, healthcare, freedom from violence, a voice, and an identity. We support poor people in building a better future; when disaster strikes we bring immediate help to the most vulnerable and we campaign for a fairer world.

A gift in your Will enables us to invest in long term development work, building a better future for generations to come. Please consider helping us in this very special, lasting way.

The RNLI provides a 24-hour lifesaving service around the Republic of Ireland and UK. Our crews give up their time to carry out rescues in difficult and dangerous conditions.

The work of our 43 lifeboat crews in the Republic of Ireland relies upon your generosity. An astonishing six out of ten lifeboat launches are only made possible because of gifts left in Wills. Your support is vital in training and equipping our volunteer lifesaving crews.
